PSK Supermarkets, an employee-owned company and member of Allegiance Retail Services, held a grand re-opening May 17 of Foodtown of Cold Spring, New York.

The supermarket was recently enlarged and renovated, featuring brand new departments and freshly made products daily.

“We are excited to invite the Cold Spring community to stroll the aisles of our newly remodeled store boasting a broader range of fresh foods and squeezed juices, grab-and-go meals, a fresh seafood and sushi department, and traditional and private label brands,” said Noah Katz, president of PSK Supermarkets.

The newly remodeled store introduces:

  • Fresh food service: The store now offers warm bread right out of the oven, as well as freshly squeezed orange juice daily.
  • New departments: Shoppers can now enjoy the new seafood and sushi department, select from the expanded produce department and choose flowers from many bouquets in the floral department.
  • Robust deli section: The store now makes ready-to-eat meals at the deli every day.

“The emphasis on fresh food speaks to the level of care that we have for our shoppers,” Katz shared.

Located near the city’s downtown area, Foodtown of Cold Spring encourages a welcoming shopping experience for locals in the community. The reopening is more than just another place to buy food – it is an important part of the community.

“This grand re-opening reflects the company’s commitment to serving its community and evolving to meet the changing needs and preferences of its customers,” said Joseph Fantozzi, president and COO of Allegiance Retail Services.
