More Killer Brownies will be able to be produced thanks to the recent purchase of a building in Miamisburg, Ohio. The Killer Brownie Co. building will undergo renovations over the next several months and will become the manufacturing headquarters for the wholesale entity.
“More Killer Brownie is always a good thing. We see many new brownie flavors in our future,” says Chimene Mayne Ross, chief customer officer of The Killer Brownie Co., which was initially established in 1989 as an exclusive to Dorothy Lane Market locations in Dayton, Ohio, but has since expanded to also distribute to select retail and online partners across the country.
The newly purchased building is nearly 27,000 s.f.
In October 2016, Killer Brownie moved into its current location, a 7,200-s.f. building. The Killer Brownie Co. has outgrown its current facility and now offers more than 100 products in the brownie category. The success of its signature Killer Brownie, as well as its Every Day and Gourmet brownies, has spread to national restaurant and retail chains as well as supermarket friends across the country, such as Wegmans in the East, Lunds & Byerlys in Minnesota, Bristol Farms in Southern California and Dorothy Lane Market in Ohio.
