Sacramento, California-based Blue Diamond announced its expansion into the non-dairy yogurt alternative category with Almond Breeze Almondmilk Yogurt Alternative.
The yogurt alternative is available on its own and with crunchy toppings, which are made from California-grown almonds and ingredients like granola or chocolate chips. Each variety is free from allergens, such as lactose and soy.
The Almond Breeze Almondmilk Yogurt Alternative is also available without toppings in a 24-ounce size and comes in two flavors, original and vanilla.
“Consumers are seeking more delicious plant-based foods. We believe our yogurt, made from Almond Breeze almondmilk, is the perfect way to satisfy the need for tasty plant-based options,” said Suzanne Hagener, director of brand marketing for Blue Diamond. “We developed single-serve sidecar cups that pair the deliciously creamy Almond Breeze Almondmilk Yogurt Alternative with the crunchy goodness of Blue Diamond almonds and other toppings to bring innovation to the growing plant-based yogurt space. Each 5.3 ounce single-serve container includes a serving of vanilla-flavored Almond Breeze Almondmilk Yogurt Alternative and a sidecar of toppings.
