Publix Super Markets has launched its annual holiday season Food For All campaign, which runs through Dec. 24 in all stores. Customers and associates participate by purchasing $1, $3 or $5 donation coupons stationed on holiday-themed campaign boards at the checkout lanes. Food For All is a program of making change, a nonprofit charitable organization that has partnered with Publix since 1990.

Last year, the Lakeland, Florida-based grocery chain distributed funds to more than 175 charities across the southeastern U.S., providing them with more than $3.73 million in grants. Again this year, funds will be used to support local and regional nonprofit organizations that fight hunger and advocate for self-sufficiency.

“The Food For All campaign makes it convenient to give this time of the year, and we’re so appreciative of the generous support of our customers and associates,” said Maria Brous, director of media and community relations for Publix. “Publix is proud to support the communities in which we live, work and operate—the communities we call home.”
