Adams Hometown Markets IGA of Milford, Connecticut, operated by Bill Maffeo and serviced by Bozzuto’s, is one of eight markets selected nationally to be honored as part of the annual IGA Hometown Proud Retailers Program. According to IGA, these markets represent the “best of the best” from the organization’s independent retailers in the U.S.

The retailers will be recognized at the IGA Global Rally in Las Vegas in February, where one of them will be named IGA USA International Retailer of the Year and honored alongside IGA’s International Retailers of the Year.

The other seven retailers are: Wagner’s Market Fresh IGA of Prineville, Oregon, operated by Terry and Deb Harper; Brookville IGA of Brookville, Indiana, operated by Joe Jester; Houchens Industries Price Less IGA of Franklin, Kentucky, operated by Scott McElroy; Best Buy Market IGA of Lemoore, California, operated by Skip and Misty Nugent; Rodhe’s IGA Marketplace of Millersburg, Ohio, operated by Kurt and Michelle Rodhe; Minford IGA of Minford, Ohio, operated by David Smith; and Tatsuda’s IGA of Ketchikan, Alaska, operated by Katherine Tatsuda.
