Last updated on June 13th, 2024 at 04:59 pm

Eataly—an Italian marketplace that includes a variety of restaurant, food and beverage counters, retail items and a cooking school—will open in Boston on Nov. 29 at the Prudential Center.

The 45,000-s.f., three-story building will feature 10,000 artisanal products from Italy and New England. It also will include four restaurants, 10 eateries, two cafes, a cannoli cart, gelato bar, juice bar and sandwich kiosk.

The company also has other U.S. locations in Chicago, New York and a future home in Los Angeles and Las Vegas.

Each Eataly store is dedicated to a theme, and the Boston unit will be dedicated to the sea and its food. Additionally, the newest location will collaborate with award-winning chef Barbara Lynch, CEO of Barbara Lynch Gruppo, a group of seven restaurants. Her new restaurant inside Eataly Boston, Il Pesce, will be dedicated to the sea.
