Harmons has opened its Traverse Mountain store in Lehi, Utah, and the grocer has made foodservice a standout component at the location, which is nestled against the Wasatch Mountains at 1750 Traverse Parkway. The store is the anchor for the new Terrace at Traverse Mountain retail center and marks Harmons’ 17th unit.
“The Terrace at Traverse Mountain is part of a thriving development, making it the perfect location for our new store,” said Harmons co-owner and VP for the Customer Bob Harmon. “We are ecstatic to open our doors and bring customers in this rapidly growing area the signature products and services that Harmons is known for.”
The new 65,000-s.f. Lehi location is designed with modern aesthetics, including a bay window entry and modern stained and polished concrete floors. The store also features a cooking school where students can enhance their culinary skills, a 9,000-s.f. mezzanine, outdoor balcony seating and conference rooms available for catering and events.
Harmons says the store is a haven for food aficionados, providing an array of Harmons signature delicatessen salads, sides and entrées prepared fresh daily by chefs, artisan bread made from scratch by artisan bakers and fresh gelato and coffee bar featuring locally made Caffe Ibis coffee. At the store’s gourmet cheese island, Harmons certified cheese mongers offer one of the largest selections of cheese available in Utah. The store also boasts a fresh salad and olive bar, complete with a carving station serving hot entrées.
Harmons Traverse Mountain also is a Certified Organic provider, ensuring the integrity of organic produce from distribution to customers’ baskets.
Harmons Traverse Mountain brings 250 new jobs to the area, including a cooking school chef, registered dietitian, chalkboard artist, artisan bakers, delicatessen chefs and more.
