Boston Beer Appoints New Chief Marketing Officer, And More…

The Boston Beer Co., brewer of Samuel Adams beers, named Jonathan Potter chief marketing officer (CMO), overseeing the company’s planning, development and execution of its brand development, marketing and advertising initiatives. He comes to the company from Moet Hennessy USA, where he served as managing director of its Chandon division. Before that he had been CMO and EVP of brands since 2012. From 1997-2010, Potter held a number of positions with Diageo, ultimately as CMO of Diageo North America…

Golbon, a national foodservice buying group, has added A&R Food Distributors Inc. of Bensalem, Pennsylvania, as a member. A&R has been operating since 1990 in the Philadelphia, southern New Jersey and Delaware markets, serving sports bars, delis, seafood restaurants and caterers. Golbon said A&R owner Scott Kindness and his team have increased their market share and footprint and helped customers grow into local multi-unit operators…
