Rosie Expands Online Shopping Offering To Three States Including Connecticut

Rosie, an Ithaca, New York-based online grocery shopping platform for mobile and web, recently expanded its services by teaming up with retailers in three new states.

web-Rosie-logoHighland Park Market in Connecticut, West’s Plaza Country Mart in Kansas and Elmer’s County Market in Michigan now offer grocery shopping on the web through Rosie’s e-commerce suite.

A landmark in Manchester, Connecticut, for more than 100 years, Highland Park Market is not new to the e-commerce scene. However, this is the first time in more than a decade that the retailer has chosen a different e-commerce provider. Highland Park Market’s online shoppers will continue to be able to purchase groceries for in store pickup or delivery at Highland Park Market stores in Farmington, Glastonbury, Manchester and Suffield using the retailer’s new program “Highland in a Hurry.”

“We realized our customers weren’t happy with our former online shopping platform and knew that we needed state-of-the-art, up-to-date technology to meet their needs,” said Tim Devanney, VP of operations for Highland Park Market.

“Quality customer service is at the heart of our business, and our people come first. Between Rosie’s ease of use and variety of products to better communication and customer support, we’re able to offer our consumers a much better online shopping experience.”

Rosie, founded in 2013, works with retailers to create online shopping programs that are customized for each store. By providing everything from integration with other retail partners to a dedicated customer support team, the e-commerce provider is helping retailers adapt to the shift in customer shopping habits.
