Bush’s New Product Helps Consumers Make Homemade Hummus

Last updated on June 13th, 2024 at 11:52 am

Bush Brothers & Co. has launched Hummus Made Easy, a first-in-market product that allows consumers to prepare hummus at home in three steps.

“Research shows that an increasing number of consumers are turning to hummus as they seek out more healthy and delicious snack options,” said Michael Morris, senior brand manager, Bush Brothers & Co. “They believe that making hummus at home is fresher and healthier, but finding the time and ingredients can be difficult. With Bush’s Hummus Made Easy, making customized, homemade hummus is as easy as 1-2-3.”

Now available in the bean aisle of grocery stores nationwide, Bush’s Hummus Made Easy comes in three flavors: Classic, Southwest Black Bean and Roasted Red Pepper. A blend of ingredients like tahini, olive oil, lemon, garlic and other spices, Bush’s Hummus Made Easy requires little prep time and minimal cleanup. Consumers pour a can of drained and rinsed Bush’s Garbanzo or Black Beans and a pouch of Bush’s Hummus Made Easy into a high-speed blender or food processor and blend.

“For many at-home cooks, great tasting, homemade food usually means lengthy prep time and searching for all the necessary ingredients, which might not always be readily available,” said Jeffery Saad, chef and Bush’s culinary expert. “More than 40 percent of consumers who don’t currently make hummus at home say they would try if they had an easy, tasty way to do so. Bush’s Hummus Made Easy is their answer.”
