Brookshire Grocery Co.’s manufacturing division received the “Member of the Year Award” at the 58th All Star Association Convention held in St. Petersburg, Florida, last week.
The All Star Association, which currently has 298 member companies, presents the award to the member company that has set itself apart in areas of product quality, service, advertising, innovation and community service.
BGC Manufacturing has been a member of All Star since 1992, and is the only member to have received the award twice.
BGC Manufacturing, which produces dairy, ice cream, culture, bakery, ice and beverages in various plants, also was presented with the “Best Sour Cream Award” and “Exceeds Industry Standards” recognition for its milk and ice cream.
“BGC Manufacturing has been a great supporter of the association. They continue to grow their business, and are highly respected both in their local communities and within the industry,” ” said All Star Executive Director Jeff Sterne. “Additionally, they are a true innovator in the area of new products, product safety and process innovation.”
