Massachusetts Gov. Charlie Baker has signed a new law banning powdered alcohol. Concerns ranging from underage consumption and potency to the ease of a consumer of any age concealing the package were raised in the development of the bill. Reinhart Foodservice has signed on as the “Official Foodservice Partner” for the 2016 World Food Championships (WFC). This year’s WFC, taking place at The Wharf in Orange Beach, Alabama, from Nov. 8-15, brings together both seasoned competition cooking teams and home cooks in the world’s largest food sport event. Hundreds of teams comprised of more than 1,100 people will compete across nine food categories for a chance at WFC’s $100,000 grand prize and the title of World Food Champion.
