A couple of days before Sunday’s Big Game, USDA Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack, NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell and Paul Rovey, dairy farmer and leader of the National Dairy Council, announced the availability of $35 million in grants to help schools upgrade their kitchen equipment and infrastructure in order to offer students better access to nutritious foods. Winery Sarah’s Vineyard has partnered with wholesaler Northeast Wine of Teaneck, New Jersey. Initially, Northeast Wine will release Sarah’s Vineyard’s Santa Cruz Mountains Chardonnay and Central Coast Pinot Noir to its retail and restaurant accounts.
