Industry Provides Water For Flint, Michigan, Students, And More…

Walmart, Coca-Cola, Nestlé and PepsiCo are collectively donating water to meet the daily needs of more than 10,000 school children in Flint, Michigan, for the rest of the calendar year. That translates to 176 truckloads, or up to 6.5 million bottles of water, to help with relief efforts for those affected by the water crisis in Flint. In addition to the water donation, the companies are encouraging others to support the Flint community by working with Good360, where nonprofits operating in Flint are listing their needs online…

Rudi’s Organic Bakery has launched Rudi’s Organic Bakery Kids Bread, the first nationally-available organic bread made for children. The product is available nationwide, including at all Whole Foods Market stores…

Kmart has rolled out Pharmacy Savings Plus, a program designed to help shoppers who are uninsured or underinsured who pay cash for some or all of their prescriptions, to save on prescriptions and other pharmacy products and services. Shoppers can enroll in one of two membership plans: the individual membership for $10 per year or a household membership for $15 per year.
