Although Marsh Supermarkets plans to close one of its stores in Bloomington, Indiana, the chain plans to remodel 30 of its existing stores this year.

According to Inside Indiana Business, Marsh, based in Indianapolis, says the Bloomington closure is due to lease expiration and underperformance of the location. The employees of the store will be offered positions at other Marsh locations.

The company says its second Bloomington location will begin an extensive remodel immediately along with Marsh’s store in Lafayette. Marsh recently completed remodels at its West Lafayette and third Bloomington locations.

Marsh has 73 supermarkets and two O’Malia’s Food Markets in Indiana and Ohio and has nearly 9,000 employees.
