Harvest Natural Market opened its first store July 25 at 25600 Westheimer Parkway in Katy, Texas. The market specializes in fresh, organic and locally-grown fruits and vegetables; natural grass-fed beef; and fresh, sustainable seafood. Additionally, Harvest Natural Market features two restaurants within the store: a full-service Bistro and Bar, and the fast-service Harvest Express.
One of Harvest Natural Market’s main departments is The Cooking House, where professional chefs hold entertaining and interactive cooking demos and encourage shoppers to sample the results. Another feature is the Cook Station, where customers can get their fresh meat and seafood cooked to order before they leave the store. The Chef’s Pick Station offers a variety of healthy, fully prepared take-home meals. The Corner Deli serves sandwiches, soup and salads to go, or all the ingredients for shoppers to take home to make their own creations. The Italian Corner provides bistro tables and chairs where customers can relax and enjoy their selections from the Pasta Bar, Patisserie, Deli Counter, Frozen Yogurt and Gelato Station, Coffee or Juice Bars.
Other departments include Silk Road Bazaar, with spices, nuts, curry pastes and exotic vegetables; Harvest Natural Cheese, offering artisanal to gourmet varieties; Harvest Natural Floral’s bounty of fresh and fragrant flowers; and Wine and Beer’s selections of international and domestic wines and beers, along with tutorial tastings and pairing suggestions.
Harvest Natural Market plans to open its second location this fall in The Woodlands, followed by stores in Pecan Grove, Richmond and Sugarland.
