August Celebration Planned For Jungle Jim’s 40th Anniversary

Last updated on June 13th, 2024 at 11:48 am

Jungle Jim’s International Market will host “Birthday Bash” events at both its Fairfield and Eastgate locations Aug. 17-22 to celebrate its 40th anniversary.

The retailer said in a news release that those attending can expect “a flock of food trucks, a surge of samples, fantastic fireworks, sightings of Jungle Jim himself, free safari tours of our Eastgate location, an ecosystem of entertainment for kids of all ages, a romp of raffles, birthday cake, cruise-ins and many other celebratory twists and turns that we’ll be planning up to the last possible minute.

“We’re always doing something wild at the Jungle and we rarely stop to reflect, but this event has special significance as it underlines our role in the community and the support we’ve gotten over the years,” the retailer said.

The week will culminate with a free fireworks display at each store, on Saturday, Aug. 22, at 10 p.m.
