Save-A-Lot’s Newest Stores Focus On Fresh

Over the past month, Supervalu’s hard-discount grocery banner, Save-A-Lot, has opened 13 new stores across eight states—its latest last week in Rockford, Illinois.

The banner’s newest stores, according to company officials, focus on fresh, with a “commitment to bring “fresh produce, dairy and meats” to their communities.

The new stores are a combination of corporate-owned and licensed locations. They are located at:

• 629 N. Memorial Drive in Lancaster, Ohio

• 97 Lake Street in Newburgh, New York

• 25 W. Miller Avenue in Akron, Ohio

• 27 Callahan Avenue in Appalachia, Virginia

• 640 Sunburst Highway in Cambridge, Maryland

• 817 St. Andrews Road in Columbia, South Carolina

• 401 S. Main Street in Kewanee, Illinois

• 6758 Winchester Road in Memphis, Tennessee

• 801 Black River Road in Rome, New York

• 6820 N. University Drive in Tamarac, Florida

• 33693 East Vine Street in Eastlake, Ohio

• 720 Church Street in Norfolk, Virginia

• 2514 S. Alpine Road in Rockford, Illinois
