No Time 2 Cook Dishes Now Available In Central Markets

Last updated on June 13th, 2024 at 11:54 am

No Time 2 Cook, makers of fine frozen “scratch” Cajun and Southern specialties, has announced that its Homemade Chicken Pot Pie and Squash Supreme have been picked up by H-E-B’s Central Market stores in Texas, the company’s first major retailer in that market.

No Time 2 Cook began seven years ago as a cottage industry start-up—with five Cajun products—at a small flea market in Byram, Miss. Using only fresh ingredients to produce Cajun and Southern specialties such as Shrimp and Grits, home style Chicken Pot Pie, Mama’s Cornbread Dressing, Spinach Carolina, Squash Supreme and more, the company’s frozen casseroles, soups, desserts and appetizers now retail throughout the South in more than 80 locations. This small company beat the odds, experiencing tremendous growth during difficult economic times, and manufactures in the only USDA-inspected small casserole plant in Mississippi.

“We take great pride in the fact that our unpublished scratch recipes use no canned soups, fillers, or additives,” says Karen Kurr, founder and co-owner of No Time 2 Cook. “Our company’s success is the direct result of a great team effort. Our dedicated employees work hard to produce a menu that any grandmother would be proud of.”
