The Fresh Market is coming to western Boca Raton.

The Greensboro, N.C.-based chain of gourmet supermarkets plans to open its 25th store in Florida at 20409 S. State Road 7 on June 8, reports the South Florida Business Journal.

“We are excited to open our store in west Boca and to expand our reach in Florida,” Fresh Market President and CEO Craig Carlock said in a statement.

The company’s current South Florida locations are in Aventura, Boca Raton, Coconut Grove, Coral Springs, Pembroke Pines and Wellington.

Fresh Market is in an expansion mode. It has another coming to 1800 West Ave. in South Beach, according to its website, and a total of 10 new stores opening nationwide.

In western Boca Raton, the 23,400-s.f. store will bring 90 jobs, most of which are being filled locally.

It will host a grand opening with outdoor grilling, chef demonstrations and food samplings, as well as a drawing to win $1,000 worth of the company’s branded products.

The store has a bakery that produces 30 freshly baked breads and 14 varieties of pie daily, a full-service meat counter, fresh seafood delivered several times a week, more than 200 imported and domestic cheeses, a produce department with more than 400 items and a large organic selection.

Fresh Market, founded in 1982, operates 101 stores in 20 states.
