Spinach Warning from Fresh Express

Last updated on June 13th, 2024 at 12:10 pm

Fresh Express said April 5 that it is voluntarily recalling 2,939 cases of 9-oz. bagged spinach, reports the Silicon Valley/San Jose Business Journal.

The Salinas company said the recall is “out of an abundance of caution due to a positive result for salmonella from random sample testing.”

The recalled product has product codes starting with H081 and H082, UPC Code of 7127913204 and use-by dates of April 6 and 7.

Consumers who have purchased the product should discard it and contact their retailer for a full refund, the company said.
